Nicely set up the lone goal

Only the 1st game of preseason, but oof.

The Ghost of AMac, 47 is absolutely terrible making decisions with the puck through the 1st and 2nd so far. Just bad decision after bad decision. 54 isn't too far off either.

Foerster needs a full healthy season on the Phantoms.

Frost and Tippett? I mean sure Frost scooped a little no look back hand for the goal (5on3!!), but both of them are at the age that they should be far and above others on the ice. They just blend in the pickup game.

Bright spots so far. Sandstrom played solid and kept them in the 1st. N. Cates looks like the only 1 that should be competing for a roster spot, had a goal, but has been involved more than anyone on the team.

The rest? Good luck Phantoms!

I’ve never thought Attard looked good, ever, to this point.

I actually don’t have an issue with how Tippett and Frost have looked. I like how they set up on the power play. Simple play to set up. It’s working

First 2 games last year, he was a -9. Played 15 games (i think) and ended up a -2. Meaning he was +7 for the rest of the way. And looked much more in control. Small sample size I know. But certainly not totally negative.

His decision making was still in the toilet for the 3rd too. There's being slow getting timing back or getting skating legs, but the mind should not deteriorate from not playing.

Granted everyone looked like they were playing in mud, but the noticeable ones were consistent...York, N.Cates and Foerster.

I love Allison's personality, but he may become the next Hartnell (not sure if that is the good part or bad). Wade down, Wade down.

I thought after the first period everyone aside from Attard were fine. Not great. Not even really good. Just fine. Noah Cates didn’t stand out for me anymore than Jackson Cates. Everyone was just fine. I did like that frost was putting in an effort defensively. That’s a good sign. I liked how Tippett and Frost set up the power play.

I liked #52, #49 and #62 tonight. Frost is an ameba! Thanks!
