Thanks Carol! Too bad about Boes |

Thank you Carol!
Lockwood did not look good at all. |

Thanks Carol. Guess Hoglander is taking a top 9 spot now with BB injury.
More injuries to top 9 forwards like Mikheyev may carry over to late October. This will make the needed good start on the road trip challenging. Seems like the Canucks optimism bubble has burst. |

Thanks Carol
Good opportunity for Hoglander with Boeser and potentially Mikheyev out. I'd like to see him play with Petey and Kuzmenko. |

Redacted lines due to injury so far:
Pearson JTM Garland
Kuzmenko EP40 Podkolzin
Di Giuseppe Bo Hoglander
Joshua D!kenson Lazar
Coach Bruce liked Phil Di G’s size and skill in camp. Depth stretched. Outlook desperate. |

Didn't realize they played 2 games last night. How does someone get injured on the 3rd day of a 2 day training camp? |

What is the top 9 ranking with Boes and Mik out? Are they still top 5? Top 10 at least, right? |

Well done Carol thank you.
Sucks about Boes but that's life in the bigs...let the whining commence lol
Mikheyev bit of a questionable hit blind but not shocking coming from the Flames. Must have watched some old tapes of Giordano before the game.
Hopefully the Boeser timeline is quick missing the 4 weeks doesn't stunt the start.

Should have traded Boeser before signing this band aid. He has done nothing for two years now and seems to always have injuries. Mikheyev should be fine I think. After watching it a dozen times I see nothing serious other than a bell being run. Looking forward to seeing him in a top six role hopefully but once again he has a worse history of injuries that BB6. Garland with Miller could be interesting if not with Bo. Thanks Carol, you are simply outstanding and arguably the best on HB, a tie with Bill Meltzner and that is a very big compliment. Thank you. |

Closer to the bottom. But hey there’s always Hoglander. Plus other Abby call ups. |

We could expect a PTO signing soon with BB & Miky down. Miky injury could be minor & turn into a maintenance rest. Chiasson?
Pearson JTM
Hog EP Kuzmenko
Garland Bo Pod
Dlcky Lazar Dakota |

Haha well there goes our 'depth' and any competition. I've been saying for a bit now this team is no different than last year with a few exceptions and therefor I expect them to finish around same spot as last year. One of those exceptions down already. The fact nothing visible worries me more than anything for Mikey, usually means some soft tissue thing.
For the record I was at the Calgary game. The only guys I noticed were Vladar who made a couple highlight reel saves and Milano looked good for flames. Vancouver should be embarrassed about who they sent. There's always been this back and forth between Calgary and Van where they send scrub teams to each other's city for pre-season, but Van took it to the next level yesterday. Usually there is a token player or two, but there was nothing for this game. Just embarrassing. Half to 3/4 empty building, didn't see many nuck fans as I'm sure they saw lineup |

I see the NFL has finally dropped the Pro Bowl game. About time! Now it will be a skills competition and a super fun flag football game. |

You may have spent a little too much time digging into split squad pre season games. |

Carol Schram: Boeser undergoes hand surgery, Mikheyev hurt in Canucks' preseason opener
The Vancouver Canucks' run of good health has already come to an end. Ilya Mikheyev was knocked out of the club's preseason opener against the Calgary Flames in the second period, and the Canucks announced Monday that Brock Boeser has undergone hand surgery after suffering an injury at training camp. - Carol Schram
