Group A plays at home Saturday night I assume?
Beaudin finally seeing some ice time

Beaudoin will likely be out of the organization in the next two years. He's a nothing prospect.

I agree with you. Vlasic should and probably will be in the NHLthis season. He doesn't look overwhelmed at all.

I think Regula is more ready than Vlasic right now.

Two years? Might be two weeks. He may not clear waivers if some team is desperate enough to have him as a 6 or 7D.

If Beaudin reaches NHL again, it comes after he has another year or three mastering interference and body positioning. Sort of like getting a Masters Degree following how he was taught this stuff (as an undergraduate) a couple years ago on the farm team.

Then too Beaudin has to be in a system where he can be utilized for the things he does well. See his NHL scouting report if you don't think he has positives. And although he has become more physical, I question how much this really helps. Without seeing a new, improved version of Beaudin - again this may be a couple years away - the suggestion he is lost in a couple weeks makes sense.

Beaudin may turn out as a third pair and or spare but the waiting time is too long. We have many blueline prospects who will receive an opportunity anyway - some not yet professionals - and they probably threaten the spot Beaudin would have in Rockford.

But watch him in preseason and notice how much better anyone performs in a system the players understand and buy into

I don't know if it will be a year or three before he becomes a capable defenseman, but if he does it's likely it won't be with the Hawks. Doubt if he makes the team so he has to clear waivers. Even if he clears, he's on the last year of his ELC. Hawks may not qualify him next summer ala Kalynuk this past summer. It's pretty obvious he has fallen far down on the depth chart.

On a separate note Barratt, Pour and Crevier sent down to Rockford. Many other no names released.
