Kids 23, drafted five years ago, feed him some sheltered NHL minutes. He’s skilled enough he just needs to learn the other side of the game. Without the puck.
The NHL isn’t a development league but I don’t mind if a talented young guy learns his position at the highest level. Podkolzin is doing it, Pettersson is doing it, Quinn Hughes is doing it. - Pacificgem
You are such a hypocrite.
The nhl isn't a development league, yet you name 4 or 5 players that need developing.
The problem with this league, and some of the other leagues in North America, is the fans want to see fake entertainment, not really how the game is supposed to be played.
It is a sad fact that this game is becoming more and more like ballerina on ice, (no offense to ballerina), with the Canucks leading the league in ballerina types, throughout the system |

Didn't have a Swede ranked where the Canucks picked. |

I have stated many times, since my arrival to HB, a 3 minute goon should not be allowed, and all players should have a minimum time on ice of at least 8 minutes.
I believe that players, even Hoglander, have respe t for the guy who sticks up for his teammates, as was the case when Hoglander got rocked, and ZacMac dealt with it.
I am not advocating a game of constant fighting nor am I advocating a game of constant ballerina moves.
Ultimately, the league can and should be able to provide that entertained for all., and the Canucks especially should know the fanbase better than thinking they only like the players they seem to be going after.
As a 52 year fan, there is not I like about the makeup of this team.
I think I have been pretty clear on that. |

Her prediction & aspiration to become the 1st ever female NHL GM looks bleak. |

Good on her for not being a pom-pom queen.
As a fan of this team since it's inception into the nhl, I, like many others, who have bought shirts, tickets when in Vancouver, and subscribe to sportsnetwest, to make sure I get Canucks games, by actually paying for the product, and not looking for the free streaming services, I am not sure I will last this season of softness cuddly bears.
I do know I will be around to criticize the ballerinas, as much as possible. |

I’d like to see the evidence of this, I’ve seen a blog/podcast community that thinks she’s a future GM. Honestly curious. |

It’s possible she just wasn’t good at her job. Sometimes people aren’t a good fit. Not really a big deal. |

You haven't figured out after 52 years that you have liked them on your own volition? The league and the Canucks, don't know who you are and they don't care.

That was a bit of a Richard punch. Peter’s interview in the first intermission says it all, “there’s still two periods to play”… |

She sounds very bright for her profession. What has come into question a few times is her ability to play nice with others it seems. |

Yeah, who knows. Just saying sometimes people just aren’t a good fit, or they’re not ready for the role they believe they can fill. |

Considering there was praise by some in the organization very recently.
Who knows it right. As Northy said coincidently right after she liked tweets bashing her employers, things were deleted and so was she from the Org. |

I think fighting in hockey is stupid. One guy hits another guy and then he has to fight because the guy didn’t like it. Happened twice in the game last night.
BUT… every player should be willing to fight. As you say, to stick up for a teammate, or just to stand up for yourself. |
