All this assumes Power is an all star in two years and is not signing a bridge deal.
Get Robertson now, worry about 2 years in 1.75 years.

Ongoing discussions between the Stars and Jason Robertson. Seems like a major shift is going to have to occur for Robertson to start the season in Dallas. Still time to get something done.

I know it's not the easiest thing to dig into, but Khudobin will likely go to LTIR so that flexibility isn't a thing. 7.8m space today + 3.3m to sign Robertson + 2 open roster spots (that they don't have to use).
It's not that difficult for this season, but there are long-term implications. |
