Who's going to be captain? - chilliard77
Girgensons…. duh 🤣🤣🤣
Either Okposo or Tuch are the most obvious choices
I’d rather have it be Tuch, as i don’t want Okposo signed here long term |

Corsi%/Ekblad in 20-21:
With: 53.72
Weegar without: 52.71
Without Weegar: 55.70
Insignificant change tbh. But that was only 35 games. - TheSabresTaco
I remember watching Weegar owning MacKinnon all game long, he couldn’t get around him with the puck and kept losing possession, eventually started dumping it in behind him. Weegar runs into problems when he tries to do too much. He can be really solid defender when the Bobby Orr syndrome isn’t kicking in...ex- late in tie game, Last man back Weegar skates into neutral zone and tries to walk around Ovechkin instead of moving the puck...turnover, 2on1, game’s not tied anymore...
Sutter might be the perfect coach for Weegs defensive game, as long as he lets him run a little bit. |

You obviously have watched him play more than I have. My memory is biased on recent viewings I
Last PO's when Tampa took it to him repeatedly
, making him make the first move, then torching him as a result. He was very slow to recover. They feasted on him is my recollection. Hopefully he proves deserving of an 8 year contract through nearly reaching 38. I have my doubts. |

The scenario I described occurred during game1 of series vs the Capitals. He was shaky as hell after that silliness, like he was trying to make up for it and it kept getting worse. |

He cost a few playoff games, last year and this year. Remember talking with you guys over on the Florida blog about it during the playoffs. Likes to go behind the net, when he shouldn't. |

Bit interesting, think tomorrow is the latest to waive and send down before the deadline. |

Go Bills!
Rest the boys as necessary, hopefully some can recover enough to go against the Chiefs, then get 2 more weeks off for the stretch run.
Just don't rush Trey...more needed in week 19 |

Send UPL down and have that boy start 40 of the 1st 55.
Keep Pilut, send Fitz down.
Send both Sheahan and Bjork down.
Tell Casey he's next unless he lights it up.

Just the waiver and injury implications. If Okposo is going to miss any time, you could be compliant without waivers. If someone else is hurt, they could be done just with UPL.

Is Kyle really deserving of a C on his jersey? This seems like a weak decision by KA if it happens. No need to name a captain yet. Okposo should have led this team when he was first signed. Too late. Trade him |

I'm surprised they define it. Let's the other team to know what to prepare for. Should keep them guessing.

They never stop giving us quality material.
On a serious note, next blog: middle six concerns. That group had a very disappointing preseason. |

I have been a big defender of CM over the past year and I have to agree. Still need more from him (said everyone for four years) |

They really need a decent start to the season. If he's handed 2C, he's a big part of it.
