Are you signing Girgensons to an extension after this season, even if only a one year extension?
How about Okposo? - kingcong39
If Asplund can't replace Z after this season that will be trouble. I just can't see the point of having them both after this season.
If Okposo can repeat last year 21g 24a then I would sign him a one or two year deal for as much as 2 mill per.
Ideally we don't want either back, but I'd be shocked if one were not back. And, I can certainly see both back.
KO was the 3rd leading goal scorer on the Sabres last season and one of our most responsible forwards. We would have been a lot worse without him. That's how bad we are. Sometimes I think we forget.
The only way they don't come back is if young people displace them. It didn't happen last season. Not even close in the case of Okposo.

He's great for a run to 29th - IonSabres
Like I said, I'm 100% OK with waiving him.
1. he'll be picked up instantly
2. his replacement rookie will get caved in routinely
I'm not against either. Maybe an older rookie like Weissbach can come in and learn in the deep end. I would be excited to see it.

Like I said previously; I'm ok with him here for this season, but he should not be brought back.
He is not good on the PK and he wastes 14:00 minutes a night. Asplund is his replacement defensively. I would hope that a younger player will come in next season to push Asplund down...thereby upgrading the roster in 2 spots, not just 1 as a direct replacement for Giggels.
I would hope that as the Sabres roster changes, they move into 4 lines that can play more evenly, rather that a slug line as their 4th. |

Is this an open question for the board or specifically laruns?

I see the NHL Center Ice package is only $69.00 on Directv this year. Probably still going to be over $200.00 in Canada. |

T minus ten years until the NFL has a four team European division. Get ready.
London and Paris are obvious. Germany will have a team, but what city? Where is the 4th team? Italy? Spain?
There are prototype passenger jets that can fly NY to London in 80 minutes that are in development now, and the NFL commish was just talking a full Euro division.
$$$$$$ talks and the NFL always needs more.
edit: Shouldn't Toronto get a team before London, Paris, Munich, or Rome? |

I heard he didn't care much for those. Preferred candles in weird places from the gossip about town in those days. |

What’s with Valimaki being waived ? Last I remember he was the best prospect they had. |

Is Tuch a serious candidate for Captain?
If so, why wasn't he given an A this time? - kingcong39
They didn't want to disrespect Girgs by taking his letter away. Not a great answer, but probably the truth.
