I’m not completely sold on Robertson. I worry that he might be Lonny Bohonos 2.0
It’s one thing for a minor leaguer to go flat out and look good in training camp when the regulars are sort of coasting. It’s quite another to keep up that pace when the season starts.
I hope I’m wrong of course but every time I watch him play I’m reminded of Yakupov. - shack67
Love the Lonny reference.
Or as Don Cherry called him, Lammy Bahamas. |

As nice as it would be the leafs would have to give up something like Sandin, a top prospect and a first to land Kane…. And then pay another team something to afford his contract.
Like I said it would be nice but the last thing the leafs truly need is a smaller player who upgrades their offense but not with physical play. - Dozzer
Good thing about the Leafs and the position they're in, they can offer 2 1sts. Chicago is rebuilding to the bones it looks like, so there's no way that isn't tempting. |

It would be a joke if they sent him down. I don't think they will. He's earned a spot to start the season. - fifty__missions

The good thing about Robertson is that the rest of his game looks to be catching up to his all world shot. |

Can’t figure out how to post it from my tablet, but Kypreos is reporting that Coyotes players are hating the new arena. |

I hope so. Wouldn’t it be great if becomes a solid player for us? |

The first from 2023 and 2024? When they didn’t have one since 2020? That’s getting a tad gutsy if it’s just for a rental to give that up. |

I seen't a tweet talking about that. Someone in the tweets posted a few clips of players saying they didn't mind it. |

Be amazing. Knies, too. Those two players would give the Leafs the balls to trade more 1sts to try stack the roster. |

I just found this…
Due to sharing an arena with the ASU Sun Devils hockey team, the Coyotes will start the year on a six-game road trip and play 20 of their first 24 games on the road. Coyotes coach André Tourigny isn’t sweating the tough road schedule to open the season. He views each game one at a time.

Gutsy for sure. But sometimes that's what you need the team to do.
I'm not positive or anything, but I think I read that Kane would prefer to sign an extension with the team he gets traded to. So if a trade for him happens, an extension could be in the cards. And I wouldn't think he'd ask for top limit $$$. Winning is probably his top priority these days. |

Of course they are. The PA didn’t want them to move in. I think they want to nix the move. I can’t remember if they didn’t have a veto or got them to make some improvements.
I’ve been saying it’s substandard and they get second dibs behind the College team. Nobody with a an NTC will agree to go there. |

Meh… get half the away games done and only have to primarily hang in Arizona for the coldest part of winter…. Might not be so bad |

If I had to guess, I think Kane gets 2-3 year deals the rest of his career. Moving from top team to top team, or staying with the team he gets traded to if they remain a top team. Makes sense to me, at least. |

Good for the fans in the sense that every seat is a good seat and there's no shot tickets cost more than $15. |

Maybe another 5 year deal for good cash and then a Gio/Spezza type year by year after that?
Wonder if he’d take off from Chicago for a couple years and let them use the pics they got for him and then come back and be the solid and highly paid vet for that team |

Apparently, they’re making more $ this year. Tempe and Scottsdale which is nearby are much tonier than Glendale where they were so I guess they can charge more. A lot of people in Scottsdale just didn’t bother making the drive.
But they still suck, so there’s that. |
