You don’t think the third line I wrote has talent? If that’s the case we’re in for a tough time.
The way I wrote it- Laf and Kakko get 18- 20 minutes a inight instead of 10-12.

Putting them on the 2nd line doesnt get them 18-20 mins a night. Zibanejad was averaging 19:38 mins, Panarin 19:13 mins. LAF was getting 14 mins a night last year. A bump to the 2nd line gets LAF 16 minutes tops! The only thing that could get LAF the minutes you speak of is playing on the PP and we both know he wont be on PP1.
And no, that third line you speak of isnt “talented” the way you want it. Its essentially a mish mosh of players. Goodrow a grinding/checking FWD, Chytil a young kid with still no clear identity, and Kravtsov a kid we have no idea whether he can play in the NHL within this system.
