Watching Overdrive last week on TSN and the panel they had on said they could make it in mostly for the WC however. I don't believe LA is a lock for third spot IMO.

I doubt that in that state they could have traded him for anything more than a late round pick. He’s worth more signed I think. You (and Don) may not like him, but he still has a skill which is valued in the NHL.

Of course but obviously many feel the team can move up. Like I said I think 3rd spot is up for grabs after EDM-CGY and you are correct it could literally be 5-6 other teams playing decent Hockey. I still think it will be a fun year regardless.

Every Canuck season injuries have a huge effect. Every single season. The Canucks are an NHL outlier when it comes to injuries. The one exception was the year they make the cup final. I believe their 2010/11 season had the least man games lost in their history.

I’m not a Gillis fan but at least his management team recognized this to be a major factor in Canuck’s lack of success and installed personnel to try and deal with it.

It’s a cliché to say “depth” but for the Canucks abnormal injury issues, it’s paramount.

lol I stayed away from NFL this weekend but made out good with the Mariners sweep.

Many Jays fans at work owe me big time lol. Made out with some beer too.

Swings are down with Horse racing however. I was up big a few months back now just breaking even. Took a bath at Woodbine Saturday and Sunday didn't cash one f'n ticket lol
