That’s great. Let’s hope it helps on the ice. If they come out 3-7 to start the season then all the fancy cap management means squat. - bloatedmosquito
If the season tanks it’s a weapon if teams need a 3rd team at the TDL to dump cap. Cap space is always a good thing in season. |

Seems the cap moves meant is they don’t have to play short of players. Especially with short term injuries.
I think no one knows what to expect from this group. Consistency is the big question mark that only time will tell. |

The Canucks were able to fully maximize the cap space due to injuries. I’m assuming those injured players will return at some point changing the team’s cap dynamics. As QQ stated, this only helps the Canucks have a full roster at season start (as some teams must play short handed to be cap compliant). I don’t think this will help much come TDL time. |

I believe it does help as the season moves along. It allows the cap to be accrued over the course of the season.
In order to understand how this works, you have to be extremely smart, like Nighthawk and myself. |

Depends on who you talk to in here. The 9-10 armchair GM's seem to have things figured out lol

No you’re good. When you are using LTIR you are over the cap. They don’t have $3.5m in space, they are allowed to exceed the $82.5m cap by exactly $3.5m for the duration of the season - assuming Ferland doesn’t get healthy. |

I didn't PM, but I'd still do it if we can start late, I totally forgot the season started last week. |

I guess they finished draining the funds that were left.
Close down HC and start a new organization. |

Thanks. I thought there was a correlation between how much you can go over to how close your active roster is to the cap's $82.5m limit. |

Trudeau's plan. Are you sure you want to be lumped in with all the other libtards out there? Be careful, you might get labelled.
