We need less PP's. Our Powerplay is basically like being a man down. Puck goes around the perimeter to Ep, Miller or Hughes until we lose it. Kuzmenko and Bo barely factor in. EDM put pressure on those 3 players and shut us down. King needs to stop living in 2011 and realize these players need a better strategy. - Retinalz
You need that defenseman that can shoot the puck and make players scared to block it so that you can open up the perimeter for EP40, Miller and Hughes to make plays. With no one that can make PKers worry about broken bones if they block a shot, they can pressure the perimeter and take away the passing. Most of our D have muffins for shots that are easily blocked or else aren't scary enough to keep the PKers honest. We miss a Salo back there that could shoot the puck really hard, that's how the Sedins could work their magic, when you have a threat like that back there it opens up space for your skilled players. |

I’m not sure Horvat is solid…
Horrific game from Bo, Hughes and Sluggy: absolutely no way we should sign Bo as his skating is really starting to deteriorate. Boeser has no place on this team and it’s pretty clear Kuzy is a far superior player.
Not all bad. Defense was solid and the Russian kids played well. If we had some finish it would have been 6-1 half way through the game and a different story - CanuckDon
He is, but it's 2LC/60 points solid. I had hopes Bo would graduate to a true #1 C for this club but alas...disappointment. Petey and Boeser both looked quicker last night. Not sure what to make of Hughes he looked OK at times. Russians pretty solid. Se where it goes. |

Elias barely moves and his one timer has become predictable with too long of a release. He needs to rotate more |

Fell asleep on the couch last night, I think they lost because my good cheering mojo disappeared. Just one game, need to work on the PK but they looked ok other than that |

Hughes actually shoots the puck quite well given time/space. But yes we miss the big RHD bomber we had with Salo. When he was healthy anyways. Rutherford will handle it. |

I'm sure they can move him if/when it gets to that point. I think Mikheyev will also be a good addition. - VanHockeyGuy
Hope we can move him as he will cost us Kuz if we can't.

Hughes, Woo, Juolevi are the only 3 D drafted in the first 2 rounds in a decade those were players Benning really wanted. 2008 Yann Suave was the one before that.
Team has been terrible at drafting defensemen for decades, maybe some of the most senior members, that have the loudest voices in the room need to be let go.
Sergei Chibisov, Ron Delorme and Thomas Gradin seem to have been there the longest. |

I'm not sure why you got different numbers or where you got different numbers from.
If you back read. The question was who would play more.
I'm not sure where you got Kuzmenko playing 18:04 |

Curious... how many teams have that defenseman who can "shoot the puck" like that anymore?
Toronto was #1 last year.. Morgan Reilly?
St Lou #2.... Krug?
Edmonton #3... Barrie?
Rangers #4... Adam Fox?
Don't seem like the Salo or Weber type bombs anymore.

Interesting how Yahoo is different than NHL.com, naturalstattrick, espn, bleacher report and the score for Kuzmenko ice time. Anywho.
Kuzmenko had the better game for sure. He didn't have to play with Miller except for the power play.
Miller played the most against McDavid 5v5 though, not going to help his winger Boeser's stat sheet in anyway.
The "stanchion" canucksarmy report there with all of Miller's give aways in that game. Technically 3 give aways in his stats but who knows how many passes to no one. |

Stop being cowards and join the yahoo pool, we got 8 teams so far, draft is tonight at 7pm and winner gets $50, 2nd place gets to pick out my next avatar
I'm cool with rolling with 8 teams, but 10 would be cool.

I thought Miller was a give-away machine last night. Some of his decision making and passing was cringe inducing. |
