Yeah that Boeser contract does not look good. Not only does it make Horvat more costly as a direct teammate comparison but it also hurts the team’s cap space to even re-sign Horvat - Nucker101
I’d take him over Myers. Both are in that weird spot where you don’t want them out against top lines and they don’t exactly create offense either. They just soak up minutes but I do think Sanheim is a bit better at it.
OEL I still think has more to show, but he needs a puck mover with him. Kind of how Edler did as he aged. - Nucker101
They'll never get their worth out of OEL having Hughes as the only point man on the 1st PP unit. I'm not saying OEL is better... but he's a waste as a 30 second 2nd unit guy manning the point surrounded by sloppy seconds.
I'm quite amazed at this management's logic. They are willing to trade a 2nd round pick to free up around 1.5ish cap space because of how critical the cap space need is but they are not willing to part with Boeser for nothing to very little in return to free up Boeser's 6.65m cap space.
I'm sorry management fanboys but this is absolutely retarded. - boonerbuck

I watch way too many Flyers games (because they always play early) and I haven't seen anything from Sanheim that would even put him 1% ahead of Myers.
OEL has/is disappointing. The trade was terrible but it's getting harder to slam him over his cap hit. We both agree OEL is better than Sanheim and now OEL is only paid 1M more per season.
I'd expect Van to explore the trade market for him again this off season.

Probably because you don’t know what you’re looking at, like most people here
Yes I get that but I'm referring to both sides. If you watched WAS closely at one point they moved OVi around both sides...on the point and in front of the net. I'd like to see Brock there in the 'Miller' zone as well. Kid can score and shoot. And just move Petey around a bit don't try to plant him in the same spot every PP. And we don't need to see Pearson on PP1...ever. - LordHumungous
If we want to be an elite team demko needs to shut the door, they had 6 quality chances from what I seen 4 went in, he would be the first to tell you it’s not good enough.
