It's not how you start, it's how you finish, if you can't hold a 3 goal lead then you don't deserve to win in the first place. Clearly this team is still going to have to rely on Demko playing out of his mind and having to be perfect on dozens of prime scoring opportunities to have a shot at getting into the playoffs. It is what it is and this team is going to ride or die on hoping against all odds they can sneak in as the 2nd WC team.

I think people were more worried about slow starts to the season. One and a half periods isnt enough.
