Cozens looked so mature, confident. JJ looked natural in transition to NHL. Asplund and Okposo were fantastic! Quinn needs time. That’s fine. He was not really a liability, but not much impact. It will take some time

Swapping Tuch with Olofsson would be a start.

Quinn was a half step behind the pace all night. Great player with the puck on his stick but you could tell a few instances he thought he had more time than he actually had.

There are few things more gratifying for a fan than when the team's season opening video montage comes on the jumbotron and the audio background is a montage of your calls to WGR550. Someone at the Sabres heard all my calls last year and decided everyone in the arena needed to hear my best hits. I still can't believe it.
