Well i heard that “Owen Power was awful. I mean really bad”

lol

Nice win. On pace for 82-0 !

He was, and I am the one that said. I am sure Jordan was really bad in some games as well.

I thought he was fine given he has the worst D-mate possible right now.... Joker wasnt this bad last year was he?
- DirtyDan

The pairing didn’t have a good game
Let’s see how they are over the next couple weeks
As of now, I’m not concerned

Mitts - 5 GV
rest of players to play on both teams - 7 GV

Guys soft on the puck as well

- DirtyDan

I agree Mitts was the worst forward on the ice, but I trust NHL stats about as much as a politician. No way the rest of the players didn't have as many giveaways. Skinner had a couple beauties. Anything harder to count than shots and I don't trust them. Marty Biron makes a point of dumping on them almost every intermission report.

Playing their worst defensive line with a 1 goal lead and an empty net is an interesting Donnie tendency. Doesn't trust the kids or wants to give his big guys easy points?
- Lunaion

I am not sure what you are referring to. We had our 4th line out there with 2:30 left and they dominated the Sens. The kids were the next line out and they did well.

I'm curious too, I felt that donnie was giving olofsson that head start on the season. Get him rolling early.

Look like they had peterka out with the empty net too.
Earned his look perhaps?

Not sure. He did it last year, but I chalked it up to the games not really mattering.

Can't blame some of us. Some of YOU PEOPLE though need to stretch those alligator arms out. Take the boxing gloves off, cheapskates. It's nice to have people there.

No way he's putting anyone out there for a soft goal for the first ENG. That's nuts. The 2nd one, absolutely.

With 1 minute left, it was Tage.
- Lunaion

Well, right. The net was empty for a good long time. He couldn't finish out the game by playing the 4th line for two and a half minutes.

Ready for some day drinking tomorrow? Liquid lunch and a hockey matinee.

I hate early afternoon games, though. Cats are usually still sleepy at that time of the day.

NHL highlights starts the game in the second period missing JJ's first goal

This league sucks for advertising their own players

Guess I'd like to see him split the middle six and throw Cozen + Tuch out together. Assemble their second best defensive line. Tage's line is terrible defensively and got caved in all night.

They held on, just find the decision interesting.

For the last month or so, I’ve been saying i wanna see: Asplund-Cozens-Tuch together
Bc i think they could develop into a good enough 2way line that it allows us to move on from having Girgs & Okposo anchor a line that’s strictly defense- and thus allowing us to make room for more youth that’s coming

It's a topic I generally agree with you on. Team isn't in a place where they can play their 3 best two-way forwards together. Hopefully they are building towards something similar to that.

I went to the game, from memory peterka was out there with about 2 minutes left , other net wide open.

Then olofsson took over and stole the show with 2 solid game clinching goals.

I think tage and tuch had some ice time too without the goalie?

I think it would have been enough to not put Skinner or Krebs out there in the last 3 minutes.

Think we're saying something very similar. Go down to 3 lines. Donnie likes to roll 4.

I think keeping Skinner happy is part of his decision making. He saw what happens when he starts pouting.
