B: The injury is serious enough that he needs to go on LTIR. Erik Kallgren (who was injured last night in Marlies AHL opener) was already cleared to return. He would join team as Samsonov backup…

C: if it’s something that would keep Murray out a few days/games but not require LTIR, TOR would bring in Jett Alexander on a PTO (we saw him last year) for tonight. Kallgren could join them as soon as tomorrow on an emergency basis. (End)

It's entertaining. They can't just call up Kallgren because they have no cap space, but they can if they play shorthanded for a game. What a strange rule to fix a self-inflicted problem.

IMO, wait 10 days with the same pairings.
If Power and Joker don't mesh, then see if switching Lyubushkin and Joker pan out.
If that doesn't do it, then they need to ID a top4 RhD to go after.
