Tiny rasmus asplund should be in the AHL

Krebs should join him. Looks completely lost.

Power puff coughs up the nappy dugout way too much.
Bad hockey choices.

He’s not ready. Another year down would help. Games too fast for him in NHL at his current development level

How long do you try to see if he adjusts. It will be interesting to see how long the rope is with Granato.

I thought Comrie was really good today. Don’t think Andy makes any difference for the better.

Initial thoughts:

1. bad crowd. they announced like 11,500. I doubt 10 were there.

2. Hard enough to play the Panthers without having the refs stick it to you too. I'd still like to know who Dahlin crosschecked and where this phantom trip
from Bryson happened. Both ended up PP goals.

3. Knight robbed Skinner on the game tying goal. That was a point denying save.

4. Until Power comes of age he's a liability out there right now.

5. Quinn looked like he didn't belong out there until halfway through the 3rd period.

6. Alex Tuch drives the game when he's on the ice. Shame they can't clone him. The top line is lightyears better with him on it.

He spent the night playing Barkov's line. That ain't easy. Asplund has a defined role and does it well IMO.

It was a decent game, Tkachuk definitely got in the Sabres head in the 2nd. It's a shame that other than Tuch none of are other supposed Leader or leaders didn't step up more to Tkachuk going at Dahlin or Power every scrum or chance he had.

Oh yeah, Z train showing yet again why he can play in this league on almost any team. He spent the night playing Barkov and didn't get the worse end of it.

I think Asplund has been good. That whole line has been good.

I see Krebs how so many seem to see Mitts: I am not a fan. He can pass the puck like few others but he is a space cadet otherwise. If Hino makes it back in it should be for him or Quinn.

Krebs might be a decent piece to use to get another Dman

Don Granato after the Sabres' 4-3 loss, which had 14 minor penalties and numerous skirmishes like this one: "I can’t wait to play that team again, and I know there’s a fire in our guys that burned hotter every moment in that game."

Hope so, I hope that helps them grow and evolve as players. They need to answer that or it will just keep happening.

Florida could have had 8 today. They scored 4 goals and didn’t manage to score on any of the six 2 on 1s they had.

I remember being told that we had no room on this roster because guys like Quinn, Krebs, Peterka etc needed their spots.

Two games in and Quinn and Krebs look like AHL’ers again.

Man last couple games just showed how important Tuch is to this team. Donnie needs to keep Skinner Tallness Tuch together to atleast get those 2 started. His skill set fits anywhere in the Top 9

At least they can play the “inexperience card”.

We have $20M of cap on the top line that was out for a Sunday skate today

2 games into his Panthers career, Tkachuk is 2 for 2 at really pissing the other team off

Can't not mention: What the actual F was his tallness doing? WTF just throws the puck blindly across his goalie to a Panther in the slot? Tage Thompson that's who. At least when Skinner does it it's when he leaving the ice on a change and just passes it to the other team in the neutral zone.

You were correctly told that. The whole point of playing the kids is to find out what you have. That is ongoing. If we bring in 36 year old centers you are only kicking the can down the road.

He reminds me a lot of Bergeron in that he is real tough against the 20 year olds on the other team. I think it is a mistake for teams to start chasing him around the rink. That isn't team toughness.

you could say the same for olofsson if you removed the empty netters

I am more concerned about joker, casey and power right now vs krebs and quinn

and I think power will find his groove on the west coast trip
