Man last couple games just showed how important Tuch is to this team. Donnie needs to keep Skinner Tallness Tuch together to atleast get those 2 started. His skill set fits anywhere in the Top 9

I remember being told that we had no room on this roster because guys like Quinn, Krebs, Peterka etc needed their spots.

Two games in and Quinn and Krebs look like AHL’ers again.

Seriously! I MEAN SERIOUSLY.
Lol.
C'mon man, you can't be serious.

Give the kid the season...he. stunk his first year in the A too.
Let him acclimate for 50 / 60 games...its a Development year for the young guys.

Next we'll hear how Daahlin is frustrated with how the season is going and wants out.

His career speaks for itself after this many years. If he's plays 70+ games he'll have 30 or more goals. A leopard doesn't change spots unless an ass puts him on the 4th line or the press box.

Vinnie deserves to play on the West Coast trip. There's no way he doesn't play better than Krebs, Mitts, or Quinn.

Power needs to be coached properly. He can't be out there 20 minutes right now. He just can't do it.

Wouldn't be the first one Would Dahlin. I agree with most of what you are saying. But there's other young players that might deserve a look to. Fine line with development and maybe holding someone back.

Lastly, Sammy and Joker swapped because Power looked lost out there. It's on Dahlin to remain excellent paired with Joker. Power needs Sammy real real bad right now.

Sammy is underpaid right now.

Sabres need to find Powers partner. And as much as I like Samuelsson he is not a full-time RD.

Mitts led Sabre F's in ice time today, by a healthy margin. Anyone know why? By some measures he was their worst F today.

Makes sense as he's only making $925K this season.

You were correctly told that. The whole point of playing the kids is to find out what you have. That is ongoing. If we bring in 36 year old centers you are only kicking the can down the road.

(rinse, repeat)

Letting Quinn struggle when he might not be ready isn’t “seeing what you have”

Can't not mention: What the actual F was his tallness doing? WTF just throws the puck blindly across his goalie to a Panther in the slot? Tage Thompson that's who. At least when Skinner does it it's when he leaving the ice on a change and just passes it to the other team in the neutral zone.
- lacaprup

The whole team was blindly throwing it in front of the net all game it’s like they practice it. As a farmer goalie that frustrates the hell out of me. I used to tell everyone if you are going to pass it in the d zone you better have a target or else it’s up the boards.

I'm curious which 36 year old Centers people were clamoring to bring in.

They definitely have issues putting middle six lines together, especially if they have to put Tuch back on the top line. I can't imagine not doing that when you know McDavid will be matched against Tage at every opportunity.

They needed another middle six addition at the very least

We got Vinny Hinostroza

The GM then gets maybe the most unwarranted front office extension in the history of the NHL

There's little point in continuing the discussion, as the response will be free agents didn't want to sign here.

The unfortunate part is that Asplund should be that guy, but they can't.

I mentioned this last year. I know it's true now. They are coached to throw passes in front of goalies when they break out. You're right. They all do it. They all did it last year. It's how they break out. I think they could give up a goal less ever other game if they stopped this one habit. But, they're coached to do it. They must be. Not what TT did today, but the soft D to D or F back to D right in front of the goalie. It's nuts.

I was totally confused seeing him out there late in the game. He has no awareness of where he is or his teammates that always lead to turnovers

He's PKing and that PK was on the ice a lot.

Edit: led PKers with 4:47 minutes played.

I don’t mind the extension for Adams as I like the pipeline he’s developing.

Granato‘s extension though, yikes.

His PP has been a disaster ever since he arrived as an assistant coach and his line combo’s are extremely inefficient to start the year.

Hellen Keller should have been able to see Skinner-Tage-Olofsson wouldn’t work for a variety of reasons.
