Lol. I’m done at 5:30, home at about 6:15. Been working these hours since April.

This is only my 2nd Saturday in months not working 130p-530a. It’s quiet on the weekends, just a pain to be here.

Hope so. So sick of hearing the no trophies bullpoop from the opposing Internet fans. Team needs Kulusevski back. Also hope Richarlison did get hurt too bad today.

Truth be told, I thought we played pretty decent on Thursday. Florida is a top team, Tkachuk was exactly what they needed and we played them well. Defense looks solid, Sorokin is the man, just have to get consistent scoring, which is easier said than done.

I agree Potvin, Thursdays game was a grind. That Cats team has a nice mix.

All jokes aside this was a great win. If this is similar to how they play we will be happy with the results this season. Not anticipating 7 goals a night but if they can produce points and limit shots will be a good season.

I hated my job the last 4 years. I made it work for me as well as I could. Yeah, made decent money but the job felt a little beneath me (not to sound like a pompous bumhole). I had a job I loved for years and it was basically taken from me. Also made me unnecessarily mad or on edge sometimes.

I like what I do now, making a little more money even and I needed that stupid piece of paper called my degree to actually get this job which I’m not gonna lie, felt like a waste for 2 decades (had a hell of a time getting it though ). Would I rather be home on my 6th or 7th beer hoping to get some from the wife? Sure, but that’s what Monday or Tuesday nights are for now.

TL/DR: don’t feel bad for me. I’m happy.

I think you have to give The Cats credit. They are a good team if not top 5 in the league. That said I thought the Isles with a new coach/system did pretty well.

I hate to poop on Chara and Greene (especially) but they were done. Too slow for this league.

If we can keep these 6 guys remotely healthy all year, plus Sorokin gets a 75/25 split over Varly…we’re a defensive team again. Like I said on the last page, we just need consistent scoring. Which….I’m not 100% on yet. But, this sport starts from the net on out so I’m feeling pretty good about that.

Well, I’m not getting it on Saturday or Sunday so…

I work 2nd trick Wed-Fri, so Friday kinda-sorta feels like a night off (at least at 1030p) so I bother her if she’s still awake at that time.

I felt the same way when I was required to get a "certification" to do a job I was already doing for years. I passed it and no one cared and I got nothing.
