The look on J.T. Miller’s face as he stood at his locker room stall at the Wells Fargo Center was a concoction of distress, frustration and defeat. Miller can’t help but ride the emotional roller coaster of highs and lows and after Saturday’s 3-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, the individual guilt he felt overshadowed everything else.

“I don’t really have the right to talk about the team at the moment,” he said when asked about the club dropping two straight. “I’m taking this upon myself to be a better player. It’s not playing to my standards so I’m not gonna comment on behalf of the team.
“I’ve been on for all eight f—ing goals (against),” he continued later. “Pretty frustrated.”

Oh ya, two games in isn't much... but this team hasn't really earned the benefit of any doubt yet, plus they're projecting to be a bubble team so having your best players suck out of the gate isn't cutting it (not just JTM, but Horvat and Brock and even Hughes have been underwhelming.)

Things will turn around, but there isn't much margin for error.

As well, I don't think people talk too much about his points (he's 2 for 2 so far), it's his 8 goals against and poopty passing that have people with their pitchforks on standby.

Probably, but by then it'll be too late and we'll get the same excuses at the end of the season, about injuries and not having enough chemistry at the beginning and blah blah blah rinse repeat.

Our "99 point" player Miller looks more like a player from the Washington Generals vs the Harlem Globetrotters, Boeser looks like he still hasn't gotten over his father dying, Bo looks like he's pouty that Miller got a contract and he didn't. EP40 is the only forward that looks like he wants to win out there. The D? Well, I grade it a D- and say that clearly the lack of depth is beyond killer.

I did like Miller's comments post game yesterday. He knows he needs to be better plus a better example out there. -8 so far but he's been noticeable at times. Horvat has been invisible but we know Bo...he'll disappear for 10 games then get 2 points per game in the next 10

My buddy (ex-pro) bought the TM Stealth driver and he is crazy long with it. He had a TM SIM 2 and literally is 20-25 yards longer with the Stealth. Have you tried that Driver with the Carbon Face I guess it's super hot...
Probably illegal really but I can't believe how far he is hitting it. I smashed one 275 the other day (long for me) and he was literally 65 yards past me
