I still think the common ground will be 7 x $7 ($49m) or 8 x $6.4(ish). The extra year nets the player an extra $2+million and brings the cap number for the team down by almost a min wage player. - 1970vintage
Still think someone has to get moved. That's going to be a lot of money tied up up front, especially with Petey's extension the following year
Allvin talks about not letting players walk for nothing, so could see them moving Bo if nothing is close |

No way this team can improve let alone keep the "Band that deserves to be keep together" all under this cap number. Like Booner said, Fisher Price See and Add should be mandatory for the GM. They have a Capoligist that can hit the limit right done to the dollar. But they have, and have had GM's that blow their wad like an 80's teenager in an arcade. Then have to walk home because they spent their last quarter on Galaga and cant call for a ride. |

That's a lot of metaphor for 1 paragraph lol
But yes, unfortunately there's a lot of money tied up in players who can't live up to their contract, which forces cost reduction in other areas.
Still would love for them to trade JTM this TDL, but that's me. |

Well if Miller isn’t really a C, then it’s two expensive C’s and two expensive W’s. Few guys in the middle who probably get squeezed out. |

Bo is the only real centre on the team, so let's trade him and do Bo a favour. |

Half asleep
JTM should never have been resigned after they did the Boeser deal. And Boeser should never have been resigned at all. So ya...
Unfortunately its the other area called defense that suffers. Good thing we traded for OEL. |

Ya, I would think the organization is in a bigger mess today, than when they fired Benning. |

Its the perfect poop storm of Benning doing the OEL deal and giving up way too much in a 9OA and taking on 7ish mil per. And now the new regime overestimating Boeser and paying the money for him and JTM's deal.
Most of us said how are you going to pay for all of this plus resign Horvat and pay Petey next season. I have no problem with the Hughes deal, he puts up points in a position that the team is terrible at. But you cant keep and pay everybody and improve the roster with no cap space and no "A "prospects pushing. |

I can’t remember who, but someone referred to Lunky as the King of Slurpers. I think it’s more Slurper Champ.
