Apologetic for whom? You are too burned out to even follow what people say. I've been ragging on the whole show... you're always single minded. Flip flopping around on the players on this team. No matter how many times you do a 180, you treat the people you counter like idiots for saying what you said a week earlier....

Well good to know the top 3 have star potential. No way nucks get #1 no matter how low they end up. Not a conspiracy, just not the canuck luck. |

They will draft between 12-15 and pick a Swedish winger |

Actually if drafting for need ... first D is 13th. Perfect ... middle of the pack again. Consider the season saved. |

Talked with Jim Rutherford earlier today as he travelled to watch the Canucks last night in Columbus and tomorrow in Minnesota.
Rutherford on the start : We are all disappointed, I thought we had better structure and habits in Columbus. We have to play the right way. |

They should seriously consider changing the team name. How about “Schenn & Cucks” |

I can kind of understand the Tanev and Marky pouting, especially Marky.
I remember this time in bantam, we had this kid who was a great goalie. It’s hard to find a really good bantam goalie! Anyway, his grades were bad so his parents punished him by not letting him play. The whole team was devastated. We knew how average we were without him. Didn’t win another game that season.
Tanev was just the guy that everyone likes and was a good fit for Hughes when healthy.
I do agree about Miller. Love the talent, not a fan of the person. I think there’s a reason why he’s been bounced from a few teams. I get the dumb yank vibe from him. - bloatedmosquito
Miller is the thin (Canuck) blue line holding this team together. |

For all the panic it’s still early and if this stretch happened during mid-season it would still be talked about but not nearly as much. I’d rather have the team actually be good enough to go up by a couple of goals in every game this season compared to the zero offense at the start of last season.
Demko isn’t going to have this sv% for much longer, he’s got it done before behind this poop defensive team. That alone will help |

1 game it'd be a blip, 2 games it's a concern... 4 games is a trend and I don't see it changing tomorrow against Minny. I also think Demko's just not able to keep up against all the quality shots and chances the team and D are letting through. It's unrealistic to expect Demko to be able to have to be Dominick Hasek and make save after save after save without something having to give (namely injury to himself). |

I mean is this team worse than either of the team's the last 2 years when Demko posted back to back .915 sv% seasons? He's currently at .847%
I don't exactly love this team but their goals against number will go down for sure, especially with Myers back to help the right side |

I think they are, don't forget that Demko had an INSANE goals saved above expected percentage last year, it's unrealistic to think he can continue to do that year after year. I've been saying that this team is due for a bottoming out, and maybe this is the year, where they do. You can't keep giving up chance after chance like the Canucks do and not expect goals to go in. Is Demko going to get better, sure, he'll likely get above .900 by seasons end.
If Myers being out was the reason the team is THIS bad, then holy (frank), this team has WAY more problems then. I like Myers and think he's a decent 4/5 defenseman but man, the rest of the D besides Hughes and maybe OEL (although that's a whole other story altogether) must be fringe to AHL-calibre D masquerading as NHL calibre. |
