1 game it'd be a blip, 2 games it's a concern... 4 games is a trend and I don't see it changing tomorrow against Minny. I also think Demko's just not able to keep up against all the quality shots and chances the team and D are letting through. It's unrealistic to expect Demko to be able to have to be Dominick Hasek and make save after save after save without something having to give (namely injury to himself).

Exactly ... it's the quality of shots .... at least in the games I've seen (most of the first 3). We give up far better chances, just clear cut giveaways, guys walking right out in front and bang bang plays. That's where the save % is deceiving to me ... maybe there's an advance stat for that but I really don't know much about the deeper analytics. Just on the eye test, sure there's a few he could have saved, but there have been plenty more he could have reasonably let in. He's not playing to last year's standard yet, I'll admit that, but he's far from the problem.
