I think Palms can still be an effective during the playoffs. A long season I'm not sure how much production we will see from Palms.

subject change for a minute... Imagine being a sharks fan. How angry would you be.. Last year they were one of the 2 teams who had to play through double digit starting players on Covid Proto-call before they started to cancel games...

This year look at the October schedule. 2 games in CZE .. Home for 2 games in 2 nights.. Then off to the east coast for a week 4 games.. Finally home and u get Vegas, Toronto, and Tampa.. oof. They could easily start the season without a win in first month.

Im hoping for 60 points out of him this year. Tough to hit but I think he can do it. No other Islander d man has since D Potvin. Offensively that would be a huge statement and yes as you said exactly the boost this team needs from the blue line offensively.
Wally starting hot again and I hope he continues as that would be a huge boost to this team as well.

You guys hate Beau.. I don't get it. He flies around the ice, he goes into the corners and he goes 100% every shift. Even the play you say he is got in the way of Palmieri.. that is where He's supposed to be.. covering that D-man. Palmieri skates right towards him so he goes to middle .. Palmieri literally passes it to the guy Beau was covering a minute ago.. That isn't a Beau is lost issue.. that is Palmieri is a dope issue.

The extremes on here by a couple of you are hysterical. As far as the second bold goes he did none of anything you mentioned. He was completely ineffective in every sense of the word imo. Hopefully he gets it together. We’re only a few games in im really not that concerned. I was hoping for a big season from him.

I agree with you there. Barzal and him have had some chemistry in the past. Worth a longer look imo.

That said, Hall hasn’t really been the same player since the Hart season. Dunno if he is still that player now and is just lazy, or whether he just prefers to defer as a Bruin.

Just an element they were missing, a big strong guy that can punish you if you aren't ready for him. Team was much more mobile and fun to watch and sorokin allows them to open it up a but if need be as he can erase a lot of mistakes
