This team has no plan for getting the puck into the zone when they’re on the PP and it led directly to that stupid penalty.

Lee has to be leading the team in penalties.

I know gaudreau and debrincat and those guys didn't fit the team according to Lou but man this team still needs more skill up front. Could just be one of those games they can't get it together too

If not for Sororkin it’s probably 7-1. Slow sloppy lazy hockey all night long. Devils dominated from start to finish. It was probably even worse then I’m describing. It was a bad bad night. Only bright spot was Sororkin who played out of his mind as usual

Game like this makes you look for Raty and Dufour to be ready soon. Hard to have patience with some of these vet forwards.

Shots have improved compared to last season.
2021 first 3 games = 87 shots
2022 first 3 games = 117 shots
Hopefully this will be the trend, shoot the puck.

I think Bettman should have made sure they had weekends off for the first two months of the season. It’s pretty obvious the NHL has it in for the Islanders.
