I like a lot of things that Tortorella is doing but his use of McEwen is absurd. McEwen leads all Flyers forwards in 5 on 5 ice time in this game. As a comparison, McEwen has 9:07 and Konecny has 6:10. For defenseman, Seeler has more 5 on 5 ice time that Provorov and DeAngelo.

It seems that the flyers can't run from their less then stellar game play anymore. They simply have not looked good this season but have miraculously capitalized on their chancee...chances.... it won't be long before the losses pile up

Goaltending has propped them up. This game should be a blowout. Sandstrom has had a strong game and kept them in it. In the 2nd period at 5 on 5. The Flyers attempted 2 shots on goal. Not shots on goal but shot attempts.
