I'm not very familiar with him other than what I've just read on elite prospects and TSN. Is he mainly an AHL roster player? I see he plays center and has 15 goals in 165 NHL games.

Just basically call up material and center depth?


Edited to add: I guess he needs to be on the NHL roster for 30 days after the claim so I guess he will be an extra forward....

He ranked #7 in scoring last season with 43 points in 49GP in the KHL. Seems to have developed some offense since he left CBJ, at least in that league. Can play any forward position. 3 good seasons in the KHL He hasn’t played in the AHL since 3016

Six and a half years ago, to be exact.

Everyone sees it different, but throughout the years when the Flyers keep picking up "vets" that tells me the players they have they don't trust or aren't good enough.

I'm fine with that, but stop re-signing these guys if they are not NHL capable. It feels like they re-sign these guys knowing they will only be Phantoms and are doing them a favor.

As one who has not still been on board with Frosty happy with his efforts thus far for most paOne thing he does that I have noticed is he is sometimes looking to get off the ice.

I have seen a number of times where there is a turnover behind the play and he is already skating to the bench.

Yes I know shift changes etc but an engaged scorer sees what happening an anticipates the turnover and is looking to score not go to bench asap.

I suppose that problem is what the new hire is going to try and correct. Taking the patient longterm approach, I thought that was one of the thing the Snider Hockey Program was eventually going do. Of course, the love of the sport, and desire of he athletes have to come into play. Besides working from the ground up, I have no clue about how to accomplish what the NHL now wants to accomplish... besides forcing teams to bring in, and play, players who are inferior to the ones they could have.

Of course, this I imagine could all be window dressing that will not accomplish anything of significance in the NHL... and programs like Snider Hockey will have to do... in the long run.

Everything about the woke mob is about power, control and money. If they cared about diversity and inclusiveness they would be talking about outreach among youth in underprivileged and underrepresented communities to take up hockey. It’s a shakedown.

You mentioned Bettman. He’s already been canceled by NHL fans so he will capitulate to the wokesters so they don’t cancel him. He’s a lawyer. Shakespeare’s comments about lawyers sound extreme but it’s easy to understand why he said it.
