It's literally the only way you can still use the site. Absolutely shameful.

So it was confirmed that Carlo's injury was in fact his 5th concussion. For his own sake, should he consider hanging it up?

Really sad to see someone his age have this many concussions. Hopefully it wasn't a bad one. Bouncing back from one or two is tough enough, but 5? Might be worth at least entertaining the idea of shutting him down for the year and seeing where he is at this off season.

These kind of injuries can mess you up for life. As much as he might love hockey, he should really think about the effects they are going to leave later on.

Reminds me of what Bergeron was going through a ways back. Didn't he take a year off or something?

Yeah. Not sure it was five concussions, but maybe 2? He got hit into the dasher bad and took a year off. Crosby took a year off too.

yeah, might be a good idea to do something along those lines. I still cringe about when Savard went down the second time after coming back from the Cooke hit. That guy went through hell for a few years with symptoms from those concussions.

Just going to say this now and get it out of the way...

*deep breath*

I was wrong. I can't believe the start this team has gotten off to! I was 100% convinced they were going to be trash this season. Granted it's only 7 games but they look good.

That's for you Mahewman. Cheers man.

I'm still concerned about what the future holds, but im gonna jump on your wagon here.

I too was convinced the year would start out trashy. I was also wrong. Kudos to Montgomery for getting another level out of this team.

For mahewman and bluemoon. Cheers.

I'm not breaking out the fresh crow just yet guys.

That being said, good thing I have some leftover from the whole contract/signings thing for a serving for myself about Foligno. That man has proven me wrong (so far).

And now Marchand is in full practice participation mode including not wearing a non-contact sweater. Looks to me like Frederic will be the odd man out for many/most nights. They need to move Smith to clear cap room and a roster spot.

They need to move a D man as well. Cant imagine them rolling 9 D men once McAvoy comes back. Time to send a couple contracts out with picks for futures.

Yep.

Ill take the good right now. We know there is pain ahead in the post Bergy/Krejci era. Going to enjoy the year.

Would enjoy it more knowing Pasta was locked down though. His value just keeps increasing.

I love to see it. A lot of the projected top teams are off to slow start. Stockpiling the wins right now is huge.

Pasta is going to get PAID!

Would not be surprised if the final numbers come at 8 years, and somewhere between 90-100M total.

Pretty clear that he will be the highest AAV of any bruin in history should he resign.

Hells yeah!

Looks like some cap moves will be on the agenda VERY soon. McAvoy is not far off so things will have to be done sooner rather than later.
