IMO much more fun to enjoy exciting wins that also build team character and confidence NOW, rather than hope for losses that have a low percentage of obtaining a franchise-changing superstar contributing 3-4 years down the road. Most important is to draft well, wherever they end up drafting.

That is correct, he missed time last year around November 4th and then again March 29th. Its a shame too, he has really looked decent this year.

I meant to mention it in this blog as well but felt it was getting long. I have been vocal about the Hawks/Wings rivalry being dead. My brother was at last nights game and said it is far from it. He said it was one of the best games he has been to in awhile in terms of fan atmosphere. So I will take the L on that take haha

I was going to say the same thing. They will also have to be horribly bad for a long time. I heard on one of the podcasts that you can get a ticket (secondary market) for the game against the Oilers for $16-20. Sure it's nosebleed, but that's reasonable for a pro ticket.
