They are going to get crushed by a much better Hurricane’s team. Looks like the Islanders need a bit of a change, perhaps a good fit for Miller?

Anywhere other than Vancouver is a good place for the problem child.

I am again finding it hard toooo watch a full game.
Hard to cheer for a team that needs to make as many changes as the Canucks need toooo make.

Try watching and laughing, it works for me.

Not sure if the Islanders will want tooo take on a contract, that is 8 million, with several years of NMC, starting next season, unless the Canucks are retain a few million.

Your Bruins are still a very good team, top of the standings. Whatever they’re doin there it’s working. It’s been, what, twelve years since they won the Cup and they’re still going strong.

I'd like to see Miller traded to Philadelphia.

With Addison playing the way he is they may just jump at that one now.
- TurdFergeson

I mean, if they (Minny) wait until the deadline they could probably get more as he’s a pending UFA but if they’re in the playoff hunt like they expect that would be a tough sell. If they did it now it would be a “hockey trade”. Maybe Canucks have to add something…Höglander or maybe some depth goaltending (Silovs)?

If the Canucks could do this without adding draft picks it would be a win.

This guy is an idiot, other than Saturday, generating offense hasn't been an issue. Holding leads and preventing high danger chances against is what our problem is...

If JTM is the issue, you have to get rid of him. Regardless.

@LH

As of right now Seattle's pick from Denver in the RW3 trade is 6-OA

- VanHockeyGuy

What a dream that would be. Make the playoffs, get a top 5/10 pick from Denver in the first and second round – that would reload a lot talent on the team real fast

You think Schnieder would go with a QB that high, or ride Geno for a couple more years?

It helps when your leaders Bergeron and Marchand, are 2 of the best 2-way players, in the game and the players buy-in to team defense.

I am quite surprised with their results, as they are missing both McAvoy and Carlo.

Though they would be a trade partner, I think Bo goes by TDL. He has no extension in place and is having a good start to the season. Ideally, we re-sign Bo and trade Miller and Boeser, but we can't afford to trade Miller AND Bo IMO.

Me too! John Tortorella would be a great personality to mesh with his, the fireworks would be entertaining.

If Geno keeps this up or win's MVP he's getting paid. Seattle will be sold in a couple of years and probably doesn't want a 20M+ QB at the moment. Pete's getting the most of his players now that Wilsons gone.

I believe, for what it’s worth, the organization needs a hard reset. Now, obviously you can’t trade everyone and you need leadership in the room, that said, I’d be trading both Miller and Horvat….along with a bunch of other players.

I understand it’s the flavour of the minute to say Miller is suddenly worthless, which is garbage, he’s having a bad start but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad player. Just like Pettersson had a bad start last year, he too is not a garbage player.

Millers put up 217 points in 202 games over the past three seasons, and, he’s a +19 over that span. Teams will definitely still see value in him.

I don’t think there is one singular problem, I think there’s a plethora of issues that plague the organization. I just think it’s time to have a hard reset. Keep your skilled young guys and a few plugs, start this over again.

Because trading every top 6 player worked so well for EDM... We will have a high chance at Bedard and the top 5 is full of elite centres to replace Bo. Id trade Boeser before Miller if we can, and with his history we can probably trade him for a 1st to a couple bubble teams with cap space.
