My company laid off 20% of the employees 2 weeks ago, decided to change the whole business model to a purely software one (we're no more making Lidars, we'll only code a perception and fusion software suite from now on). Still don't know what I'll be doing, we haven't even started training on our future tasks...might be looking for a new job in the next few months.

Wasn't really my plan with the baby coming and everything...would've liked more stability.

That's what's great with municipal jobs it's the security and stability. It's just that I'm at max salary here and not really any chances at a promotion in the next 20 years. So starting to look around for opportunities.

On attend encore l'étude qui démontre que le 3e lien va améliorer/régler le problème de traffic à Québec. Me semble que c'est le minimum avant de se lancer dans quelque chose comme ça.
