Could be. The way the Canes work the D has free rein to go balls out all the time and the forwards have to cover for them. Makes sense that a guy who sucks at defending but creates a lot of chaos jumping into the play would thrive in a situation like that.

lol I had an old white flying skate jersey from 1994 and gave it to a buddy for his kid. Anything with an Orca on it needs to get tossed and that centre ice logo needs to be ripped the fuck out as well. Want a culture change start with the Stick N' Rink and toss that dumb fucking Orca.

One thing we have learned over the years when the fans are booing and tossing jerseys on the ice, it does get FA's attention.

I'm not sure Rutherford has ever been in toxic hockey environment like Vancouver, I could see him walking if the pressure gets too much.
