I see Pierre-Olivier Joseph's name is still out there as a possible target. |

His agent says Horvat's a #1C, his trade value should reflect this. - VanHockeyGuy
Seen a post on a different site suggesting a 1st in 24 and a 2nd in 23. Something along those lines should work. |

Colorado and Carolina are two teams who think they can win the cup who really need a 2nd line C to get it done. Horvat is their guy.
Newhook, E Johnson 2023 1st
Not sure how Carolina could make the $ work. I wouldn’t want Kotkaniemi or Teravainen back and they likely don’t want to disrupt their top 4 D. - 1970vintage
Colorado struggling at center beyond MacKinnon.
JT Compher, Alex Newhook, Evan Rodriguez combined 21 games and 3 points.
Newhook and a very late 1st for Horvat doesn't seem like enough. Johnson probably doesn't have any value left.
I had seen the other day that Bear situation was going to come to a conclusion in Carolina and how Dreger said he thinks Garland will go.
Garland for Bear, Fast and a 2nd was my idea for that kind of trade. Van could turn around and trade Fast to someone else also as he is a ufa at the end of the season. |

Do you talk to your wife about all the conversations you have on the internet? Context is needed
Anyways, have a good day, no point carrying this on. - NewYorkNuck
She reads some when she is sitting beside me. Some she comes and asks what I'm up too. I do ask her questions when certain things are said about what kind of mind set a person is most likely thinking. She is a professional in the area. I've just read most of her text books. Mind and mental health is talked about to length in my house hold quite often. |

Can't make the dollars work and sure as poop don't want to give up Teravainen to add another guy in.
Our big deadline acquisition is Max Pacioretty. Kotkaniemi is doing just fine stepping into that 2C role. - BINGO!
Yeah, maybe he is maybe he isn’t, it’s early still. I think they will want to shore up that spot going into the playoffs. |

Johnson was just to make the $ work. Maybe he could help the Canucks with their culture problem short term, and you could always trade him back to the Avalanche with 50% retained at the deadline… |

With Landeskog out for many many months. They don't even have him on LTIR right now.
Schenn and Johnson on the back end getting tough with kids. |

I think the Roxy is closed right now. The building next door is doing major renos and the walls keep caving in or something.
So they'll probably go to a pottery studio and make some Ramen bowls and then grab some lattes and go for a team walk on the seawall. - Marwood

Be really crappy to break up one of the best top 9 in the league. Keep ploughing through, they’ll get there.
In other news: Flames are undefeated on the road and Marky is 4-0. |

Carolina has currently 6.8M in cap space. If you retain half on Horvat, add a 2nd round pick also. It just cost Van a 2nd round pick to save 1.3M |

How do you propose they get help on defense? I doubt Boeser, or Rathbone etc, net much in the way of help on defense. |

I would be thrilled to do that one but it would necessitate putting someone else on waivers unless Ondrej Kase goes on LTIR.
