If Alex Ovechkin and I each attempt 100 slap shots from the exact same spot on the ice, uncontested, on the exact same goalie, would we have an identical xGF?

While he's technically not the GM (but his former lieutenant is) I hope so. It's getting pretty ugly in Vancouver and they seem as likely a team as any to make a bad panic move.

Would need to be a "money in/money out" deal. Hard to see a deal between the Pens and Nucks. All the players we want to dump aren't very good and come with expensive contracts. JR's in the same boat.

I just looked at the Nucks on Capfriendly and the only players I would want from the Nucks they wouldn't trade, salary cap issues and required assets aside haha.

I doubt Hex really thinks the Pens need a trade at this point, anyway.

Isles waived Kieffer Bellows....I'm a little surprised by this. 24 year old 16th overall pick who had 19 points in 45 games last season only averaging 11 mins a game.
