I’ve always thought of him as a complimentary piece, but he wasn’t far off a ppg before being given prime ice time. Let’s say he’s somewhere between 65-85 points, still first line production. His compensation is in line with his production.
I never wanted to trade for him, I still don’t like the trade, I hated that they resigned him, I doubt that they will/would trade him but I still think he is tradeable if they wanted to go down that road. - 1970vintage

Completely disagree, if we are trading Miller it is due to management switching gears. rebuilding/retooling and Miller now makes sense to move.
Horvat is likely the piece gone though as I doubt he wants to stick around for this sh!t show. Miller will make a good winger with EP or whoever we take in the top 5 this year(c'mon Bedard) - Retinalz
Talking about if he can be moved, not if it makes sense to move him. Love to move him if he could be. Signed for 7 more years ... I don't think it's possible without big sweeteners and/or taking on lumps of coal.

Hopefully they get fed up with his ineffectiveness and sell the team from underneath him. |

He is still highly productive and has several more years of said production. he can easily be moved right now. Teams like Ottawa and Buffalo would have interest and assets. |

I love Pod but would still gladly trade him for Boldy.
I also got laughed at last year for saying I’d easily trade Pod + Hog for Stutzle - Nucker101

You're acting like he's still a pending UFA
In-season injuries don't mean poop when you're taking on an 7 and a half year commitment |

Saw a tweet today that said Kuzmenko gave up $20m by signing in Vancouver, instead of opting to play on McDavids wing…
But agree, let’s not be signing him to an extension until say game 15 at least. |

He's very talented, but I fear his temperament might be better suited for European football. |

It feels like we’re actually getting to a point where a change of ownership might actually be possible.
I know people have periodically called for this in the past, but I never thought it was realistic.
But now…? - dbot
That would clearly take a bunch of whiners to be discontent of the team instead of paying for tickets, buying merchandise. Ignorance is bliss. |

Yeah.
I just think another rebuild is inevitable, but a bad look for Franc.
Also.
Guilty, i bought tix to a game in December...before the season started...
Might get to witness their 1st win of the season

I remember reading this article, when it came out, was thinking how nice it is to rebuild management, and hoped like he'll this regime would start the player rebuild.
No such luck, yet, but they now may not have a choice, due to not only Bennings incompetence, but 20 million of their own incompetence.

“The 1980–81 Winnipeg Jets own the longest winless streak in NHL history at 30 games. Winnipeg's streak included 23 losses and seven ties.”
https://en.m.wikipedia.or...ue_longest_losing_streaks
30 games is a lofty goal. Just to get into the top 10 all time they’d have to get to 20 games without a win. I don’t think they have what it takes. |
