I remember reading this article, when it came out, was thinking how nice it is to rebuild management, and hoped like he'll this regime would start the player rebuild.

Over the life of his career. Like if he had played in Edmonton and lit it up, and signed a long term high $ deal vs playing in Van, being on the worst team in the league and then having to sign another low $ short deal somewhere before anyone was willing to give you a bigger deal, or going back to the KHL.

I'm not a Boeser fan but you might as well put the guy on PP1 with these left handed players or should I say instead of 1. You gave the guy his horrible qualyfing deal (nearly but for 3 years) to score goals. His PP ice team is half of Miller's, EP's or Bo's. I like bo in front of the net on PP1 plus win draws. That means either JT or Petey goes to PP2, I'd vote for Miller.

As discouraged as I was about the off-season and as negative as I was about the pre-season and roster, gotta admit this level of collapse this soon surprised even me a bit.

Looking like smartest person in the organization is Horvat. He can put this part of his life/career behind him within the year.
