Quinn struggling last year in the AHL playoffs and no goals in 6 games wonder if its better to send him down for a stint
- sabresfan69

The problem with Quinn is his speed. He is playing a slow or he is just slow in general speed wise.

The only way to get that muscle memory and get up to nhl speed is by actually playing

Going back to an the AHL that is slower won’t do him much good. He has already dominated that league.

Pretty sure Lindgren was our esteemed blogger's under the radar idea as a goaltender to sign by the Sabres.

If so, nice call Hank!

Washington Capitals

Backup goalie Charlie Lindgren’s strong play: A full-time NHLer for the first time, Lindgren has shined in both of his starts with his new team: a 36-save defeat in Toronto and a 38-save victory in New Jersey. He boasts a .925 save percentage and, per Sportlogiq’s analytics, has saved 0.67 goals above expected. Lindgren has also endeared himself to the room and staff with his effervescent personality and tireless practice habits. Although he is not expected to challenge undisputed No. 1 Darcy Kuemper and two starts is a small sample size, the Caps have every reason to feel confident about their decision to ink the 28-year-old to a three-year, $3.3 million contract this summer.

Comrie has been solid, I hope Adams opens his 👀 and sees that his defense needs help. Especially with the news last night that Samuelsson could be out another 7 weeks. Just a 5th, but who cares Girgensons might score a goal every 12gms to make up for the D

We have knox. I don’t think we need another TE.

I want a WR. CB or o line depth

Unless I really am missing something but neither one of these guys are gonna be in are hopeful top 6D. I really believe Johnson is going to sign, there is great opportunity in Buffalo and he got to see that this summer. You still need atleast 1 top flight RD that can come in and play right now. Especially if you are going to play Power 20m a night. Sorry Joker isn't it, maybe 3rd pair but Bryson Lyubushkin were a solid 3rd for right now. Atleast make a defensive move and then just worry about developing your forwards.
- Buff36

I agree on Johnson and the need for Power's partner on the right. I wonder if Adams believes Johnson signs after the season.
Also agree Joker isn't a top 4. Go and get his replacement, a genuine 2nd pairing guy. It is a glaring need.

I'm good with trading any combination of
Joker

Man buddy I think me and you have complained about getting a solid RD it seems for many years now. I just am really confused about this, or am I missing great defensive hockey out on the ice.

Pretty close to adding Krebs to that list, he just doesn't seem to be able to play the style Granato wants. He gets eaten up fast

Yet the Sabres won their end of the deal by getting Tage for the next 8 years.

Life is good

Debatable
StL got a Cup

But either way,
no reason for anyone to have sour grapes about ROR

And the Sabres got a 2C in his mid twenties locked up long term.

That’s why I said the Sabres won “their end of the deal”.

It was a move that ultimately worked out for both teams

Ya, I'm almost there myself, but want to see a full season.
I think Quinn and Krebs need to play, and play every night to work through their development curve.
I've seen enough of the others.

Man buddy you have complained about getting every player that has been traded to another team.
You are really confused about this and you are missing what's going on the ice.

90 shots in 2 games
Missing defenseman 2,3, and 4

Girgensons is the glue holding this season together

I don't know how anyone can say this. I can't think of a time that a rookie D came in and looked the part right away. Maybe Samuelsson? It is still a giant jump from college.

Except the Sabres actually have to play real hockey teams this week.

Blackhawks are gunning for Bedard they stripped that roster dry.
