For me, this has been the most entertaining Blackhawk hockey since the Panarin days. Getting that clown show out of the booth has been icing on the cake.

I didn't see this game, but didn't Buffalo have like 45 shots to the Hawks 25? Sounds like the Hawks got pretty outskated, but still stole a point. They need to get with the program.

It’s too bad that Mrazek has the two years left on his contract, instead of one year left like Stalok. I guess in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter that much.

Also, while Tinordi has played for six teams in ten years, and only 118 games at that, he’s been fine as a #6, he’s keeping it simple which is what a bottom dman is supposed to do. Murphy and Tinordi have been the best defensive pair on the Hawks in the first few games, small sample size I know.

Eye test wise, i totally agree. Don't let the advanced stats guys know your feelings. They will give you all the mini, micro, to the milisecond stats that show you Tinordi is getting crushed.

Hopefully Stalock continues playing well. Then maybe he'll be on the block at the TDL to a team looking for a goalie as an injury replacement or insurance policy. Maybe he'll fetch a 3rd round pick or so. Hawks could muddle their way through the last 20 games or so of the season with Mrazek and Soderblum.

I remember Toews doing almost the exact same moves against Ryan Suter when he played for Nashville, but I think he went forehand to beat Rinne.

Well I read here back in 2013 Hawks weren't winning the cup because q scratched Stalberg and screwed up the team chemistry.........

The simple method of get pucks to the net while there's traffic. Best place to win a 50 50 puck is on the opposite side of the goalie with a wide open net

Unfortunate Mitchell is still injured. This would of been the perfect time for him to establish himself as a NHL defenseman.
