That’s a statement game for sure. That was fun to watch. Maybe I was wrong about these guys. They looked slow and disinterested last week, now they’re flying and gelling. That strong of a finish too in a back-to-back with a flight in-between too is saying something. Varly too, with the huge toe save to preserve the win. Team effort, big the last week.

They really seem to be adjusting now. A lot of times players learning a new(ish) system can appear slow because they're tentative about where to go and when. They seem to be gaining confidence and therefore becoming more assertive in their commitment .
Hope they can keep it up. This type of goal support for Sorokin could make them a force

Wow taped the game.
Barzal not much of a factor until a monster shift in the 3rd where he was out with Casey and Clutter. What a pass to Mayfield.
Dare I say great game showing guts and coming back from 3-0 down to the Champs.
Varly with a huge save at 3-3 and again at 4-3.
Dare I say 3rd great game in a row?

Barzal was dynamic again all game, his possession time of 2;06 was huge and kept them in the ava end multiple times. Other than that you are correct also he has 10 assists and no goals but I'll take it

Edit the 1st two periods he wasn't as good as the 3rd but they matched makar and toews against him and they are both elite skaters as well. I still think he was really good all game

Big 3rd period dig deep win. 44 shots for, the Defense had 30% of the shots, total team effort.
The Islanders are now #1 in the Atlantic at Goals For. Now they make a big push for an 9-3 November record.

When asked after the game why he missed shifts, Huberdeau said his stomach hurt. When his coach was asked, Sutter responded, “I think he had to go take a sh!t.”

Well last night was a pleasant surprise.

Rangers, Canes and Av’s. No small thing going 3-0 against that trio. Doubly so with two of the games being back to back.

You're confused sir.

The truth is that Leaf, Ranger and Flames players are “pissy”. As to their ability to actually urinate, we're still waiting on Chiefs for confirmation.

I can confirm chiefs has been peed on numerous times. I cannot confirm whether it was NHL players that did the peeing but there have been some rumors. I would give it a solid E3 close to an E4.
