Added bonus is the kids are putting up nice numbers in BP. Bouldic is putting up points along with Iskhakov. Bouldic is 1g 8 asst 9 points in 7 games and Iskhakov is 4 g 7 asst 11 points in 7 games. Dufour Holmstrom and Raty off to nice starts as well👍

That’s fuking awesome. I feel like we finally have a nice pool of young talent thst will be nhl players. Really feeling good about Lane’s system and the current trajectory of the big club. Nice to have this talent coming up in the minors.

I saw Iskhakov and Raty’s goals on Twitter. Kids can certainly rip it.

Very nice. I'm thinking Bridge is playing the same system as Islanders?

I would think so ses. Makes the transition easier when players are called up. My sons high school lacrosse team does it with with the youth program, having coaches layered throughout. Have to think the pros are doing similar things.

I think Bridge played Barry's system at the time streaks. I know 2-1 games can be exciting but I prefer the style the Islanders are playing. I think the players and fans like it better as well.

Maybe the offensive numbers were so bad in Bridge because of Barry's system?

Never been a fan with what I know which is honestly limited. I guess it doesn’t matter what I think he has made it through two regimes and everyone seems to love the guy. In all honesty I’m not really sure why? I get the whole limited talent side of it but even in times when there was some talent there they seem to get torched pretty consistently and at best achieve mediocrity. Maybe this season will be different…

It already is different Capt. They’re putting up big shots, d is activated and we’re scoring goals. I think this team just needs to make the playoffs. Then Lane will clamp it down and they will make a playoff run and may even get to the finals. I thing this team is built for the playoffs. Just need to get there.

I hope you’re right but right around thanksgiving we’ll have a better idea whether this team can make it back to the playoffs. I hope they can continue playing the way they have the last few games but I’ll believe it when we’re in playoff position the end of November. I said I would give it till November when they were playing bad but it was meant for playing good also.

Hockey season is usually a wild ride even for competitive teams. Let’s see how they work through some inevitable injuries we all know are coming. They faced some adversity the last few games and exceeded expectations for everyone. Probably including the teams they played judging by the consecutive back up goaltenders we faced. I’m not putting all of my eggs in the positive mental basket just yet though there’s really no harm in it besides the letdown. Enjoy the ride whichever way it goes

I hear you and agree, gotta see where we are in a moths or so. But can’t deny the three games we just won are pretty special considering the skill on each of those teams. I’m keeping my expectations in check but really feeling like we finally have a coach who is playing a system that works for the players versus playing a system and plugging in players.
