He is the leader of the room. The issue is Pouty and his gang. Players that don’t want to be here need to go. Pouty isn’t resigning so time to move him for haul - CanuckDon
Miller provides some leadership but is lacking as "the team leader". We knew he had problems with previous teams when he arrived here so saying any kind of division is all on others is kind of ignorant.
Only just a few games ago we can see another one you called a leader(Schenn) tearing him a new ahole on the ice for the world to see after he pulled the "anti leader" and just let the opposition fish the puck out of the corner followed up with another lazy giveaway that led to the game winning goal. I don't know how none of the lack of leadership falls on Miller. He could learn a thing or two from Petey's on ice leadership. The kid never quits on his defensive play.
Yeah don't see it. Can see a few smaller moves for some help on D first then see where it goes. Horvat-Miller-Petey all looking to be 30 goals scorers again and not that I want it to be but Boeser may get dangled. Constantly injury-prone very inconsistent. Might be time to move on but watch him score 30 with a different club. lol

Petey is a cancer in the room not JT and not Schenn. If you dont want to believe that’s fine.
He doesn’t know. Someone inside told him Petey was an arrogant little twat when he first came into the league, which was three years ago, and he’s still running with it. I can tell you from experience most guys who play at the pro level have a certain element of arrogance to them. It’s part of the makeup that gives professional athletes an edge when competing.
Add to that, Pettersson was 19 years old when he came into the league and he’d just had a tremendous amount of success in his home country pro league. I’m sure he’s matured, just like Jared McCann has, and he’s now arguably the best forward in the entire organization.
I think Petey has grown out of his HB nickname of "Pouty". Most of the players b!tch at the refs or give them a look after receiving a check they don't like for what ever reason. What really separates him from that nickname is how no matter how bad the mistake is by him or a team mate, he never gives up trying to correct it... none of this instantly giving up and just gliding like Miller does pouting "poor me" all the way. No matter how bad the game is going he doesn't mail it in or female dog at his team mates on the ice. Looking up after a missed shot isn't really a case of "poor me"... that is pretty standard from most players.
Miller fits the "Pouty" nickname more than anyone on this team. It's not even close. Temper tantrums, giving up, passing the buck onto team mates both on the ice and in media interviews. I've never seen Petey or Bo sit in front of the mics/cams and say "I left nothing out there" after being a complete nightmare game after game and being questioned about it...
It blows my mind that people call all that leadership and "Alpha".

Funny we both were making posts like this at the same time...

The worlds not ending the illusion is. A friend I went to high school with dropped dead watching the hockey game last night, healthy as a horse, seeing a lot of that lately.
I hope Brisebois has another good showing. Eventually one of these MFing guys has to win a spot. I liked him on the Comets he is a steady guy with size and he does sometimes use it when push comes to shove.

He’s not flashy, he just does his job. Which is good. You were right about him in the end, hard work, time and opportunity is serving him well.
