I would assume Seeler, unless Torts sees how absolutely brutal Risto has been. Also I bet Frost is taking a seat. - MBFlyerfan

With just a bit more development, he turns into the next Valeri Nichushkin. |

Oh, put Murray on the bus right now. We'll ship the pucks UPS Ground. And, you're going love PT21 on your boards. Get used to 7 paragraph posts that don't say much, but he does use a lot of big words to make himself feel smarter than everyone else.

hello, I gotta side with Tomahawk on this one. You do need to step up your nickname game quite a bit. We're not picking on you, it's just constructive criticism. If you can't handle it, maybe we'll have to sit you in the middle of the Flyers Buzz bench for a few periods. |

Game should have been 4-0, 5-0 as it was... Hart played well, but the Rangers' finishing was the bigger issue it seemed: missing open nets, hitting posts, shooting right into Hart's bread basket, etc. - Tomahawk
You are overlooking the fact that the Rangers missed all of those shots because they were too intimidated by the Flyers’ tough guys to shoot straight. |

One thing that our GM failed to realize is that the opposition doesn't have time to take liberties with the Flyers young players. For a combination of reasons. One, young players are not on the ice much and two, they're too busy playing with the puck and pummeling the Flyers net. |

Hart's on a hot streak. We've seen it before. In the past, he not only falls back down to earth, he's fallen right thru the floor into the basement.
If he stays physically and mentally together this season, then maybe they can really start thinking about centering the plan around him. Until then, tho... it's a waiting for the other shoe kind of situation. - Tomahawk
Very true, Hart has to show he can stay healthy for a season. I think the past two seasons performance wise was more mental fatigue than anything else. Its tough to start around 60 games a year knowing you are going to be under siege and your team structurally is a mess. I think if the Flyers as a team hold it together as they end up near the bottom of the league, Hart will also do the same. |

Honest question - with chuckles past moves do you have faith in him to build the team out from the net? - corduroy
I don't believe Chuck has ever made decisions in a vacuum and I clearly see he is not making decisions in a vacuum now. I think Torts and Briere have a lot more input into player evaluations and decisions. I way I see it, the only way the Flyers screw this up is if they become a bubble team and go back to picking 14th in the draft. If the Flyers end up near the bottom and can get themselves into the top 5, they have a chance to get a really, really good offensive player. Add this player to potentially two other young players, Gauthier and O'Brien, and you have something to start with. Now we will see if O'Brien can actually stay healthy this year and we will see how Gauthier develops at BC, but at least you got some potential in the pipeline. The other thing to consider is that JVR will be gone after this season, so there is $7M off the books. Ellis, Couturier and Atkinson represent about $20M more in cap space that may be available depending on if they even play again, so it just may be that Fletcher lucks his way into some good talent and tons of cap space. And I still think there is a deal with Boston to be made after this season involving Hayes. |

if that is the case then good lord as bad as chuck. last thing this team needs is cap space to piss away on the hayes and rr of the world.
job lol....rather take the compensatory pick if he walks.
cracks me up peeps writing off cam as if his career is over when no one has zero clue what is actually wrong.
