by retaining half. and getting another team involved. hawks can also take back a sit contract. easy peasy. problem is both, if they want to move, are only going to teams contending. so the returns are gonna be meh.

i kinda would rather they extend kane. i am not sure if toews is going to keep playing after this season. i have a feeling he may just retire.

50/50 maybe. at this point he has been very diplomatic about the season. the only thing he has said himself is he wants to break all the hawks' scoring records. who knows what conversations he has had with brisson about it. from a PR standpoint, they are handling it correctly.

kane has always taken the young guys under his wings and like playing with them. he even brings some to his skills coach's camp during the summer.
