Liljegren will be getting paired back up with Giordano on the bottom pairing… they’re not putting him on the primary shutdown pair for his first game of the season

I don't think that lasts. Holl looks outclassed, and would be better off on the bottom pairing at 5v5.

This to me looks a lot better, particularly for Gio wear and tear reasons:

He’s not a bottom 6 talent. Nowhere near the defensive skill needed. So until Kerfoot gets bumped don’t expect him to make the lineup.

Sandin sucks defensively so stop thinking he belongs on the shutdown pairing. If they were happy with his skill there they wouldn’t have bumped him to his opposite side onto the bottom pairing. That’s the one who will get sat Saturday I’m 99% certain of that.

So please, stop putting that defensive weakness onto the shutdown pairing.
