how did this kid think that it was ok to cross a line and humiliate someone, probably under threat of violence?
why didn’t someone step in and stop this when it came to eating a piss fudgesickle or before?
i was only ever subjected to racial violence from the latinx when i was in grade school
thankfully, all they did was throw balls at me, spit on me and whip me with jump ropes once they’d chased me down
not to worry, we all made friends once we got to middle school and i’d learned how to run fast for a long time and kick ass (intervals)

i don’t know Borje Salming beyond his legendary status and his condition doesn’t make me happy
I knew my teammate quite well and when I saw him for the last time and then he died it made me sad

i think that glassthews is going to get sick of being a team leader for hits and bail for glendale or one of the other western teams so that he can be closer to his mommy and daddy🤦♂️
dufuss should’ve bailed on greedy holdouts like female dog and willi and picked up some real men who can handle themselves and their teammates on the ice like poon jenner, wilson and/or anderson🤦🏿♂️

yeah i’ve heard stories from “adults” about other “adults” commiting this sort demeaning behavior
at what point does one realize that this sort of behavior is uncivilized and stand up against bullying?
i’ve read analysis of the Bataan death march suggesting that Japanese soldiers had been so brutalized by their cadre and indoctrinated by their culture that once they had captives with less power, it was like a kid with a new toy
keep moving or you get the bayonet or, once you can’t move, the sword

The most important life lesson I’ve taught my kid, revolves around regret. Try to live your life without as much regret as you possibly can. It’s the choices you make throughout your life that may or may not allow you to live in peace and harmony with yourself. It’s hard for young people to comprehend the potential weight of regret through their actions as they get older.

coincidentally, a polish guy named Rawicz wrote a book with the same title about his escape from the gulag to India after hitler and uncle joe divvied up Poland.
i’ve always found books like these comforting when i was sucking hind tit because they reminded me that things could be a lot worse
