As if the rest of the Bruins weren't total poop heads when they were 14. - gravyface
I’m unsure what more people want from this kid.
He was convicted in juvy court.
As part of his sentencing, he was required to provide an apology, which he did (the mother claims she never received a copy, but that’s not the kid’s fault).
Now seven years later, he wants to get on with his life.
FFS, he was 14. He paid his debt to society, as was determined by a court of law.
Is he not allowed to move on? |

Sorry disagree. That pos doesnt deserve a lick of leniency. Has done nothing to show he is deserving of a second chance and when Sweeney cant even say signing him was the right thing to do? Nope. Got zero sympathy for Mitchell. Years of abusing his victim cant be swept under the rug. |

His timing is not great, not with Hockey Canada.
And I mean, kicking and punching and making him lick the urinal? That's next level abusive. Even for a 14-year old. |

The only thing I find really weird is that the "type" of bullying. It was so aggressive and Scarborough-esque circa 1970/80s. Weird that he would be doing it in 2000s ish. Pretty poopty end of the bullying spectrum for sure.
I guess the only real question is: is he still an bumhole now? Because I agree with you, punished at 14 and moving on in life. If he's better he should be allowed to move on.
poop I would be in social jail for life if my antics from Milneford and VP followed me around. I am a much different/better person now. |

When a child abuses another child for so long, yes the abuser is a p.o.s.
But the majority of the blame rests with the school and the abuser’s parents.
They had a responsibility to end the abuse and to make the abuser understand his actions were wrong.
They dropped the ball, and that’s unacceptable. |

Must've had a fantastic trainer during the summer or something.
Similar to someone coming back 20 pounds lighter, yet stronger and faster.

Perhaps I’m wrong, but my understanding is they rubbed a lollipop on a urinal, and then had the victim lick the lollipop.
Not defending the action here, but just trying to set the record straight. |

The only thing that can bring out real aggression from me is someone bullying a weaker person. I've scared a few of those lowlifes through the years |

I agree full heartedly. I wondered if Mitchell didn’t need help himself at a young age. Sad all around. |

He literally wrote an apology as part of his sentencing.
The instagram apology was in addition to that. |

Yeah. I think it's the half assed contrition that is galling, and maybe why he's not getting a second chance at this point. |

Umm no the majority of the blame doesn't belong to anyone but the 14 year old pos.
Others may share in the blame, but the majority rest with the kid. |
