Yeah, what a bad contract! But watching live Hoffman saturday reminded me that even at 1M/season he would be overpaid. Jesus I hate this guy; even with all the chances he get, he still can't produce nor create anything offensively for that matter.

I watched closely a full game this past Saturday. Yeah, Hoffman is where a play goes to die. He can't even shot on net like the snipper he is supposed to be. He lost confidence, he can't even use his only tool, his shot, that's quite pathetic.

Trade won't happen, buying him out makes no sense, Habs are left with sending him to the AHL after putting him on waiver but that's not doing a favour to your AHL team trying to develop a winning culture.
