Damn ... didn't realize my little JPEG would derail this thread.

Anyway, it's always fun to make fun of inbred GOP dippoops.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I think that's the plan do we know if someone will be interested?

If Drouin, Dadonov and Hoffman don't give some sort of glimpse that they could help a playoff team, the only one that's bringing something is Monahan.

I only see Monahan having any value at this point. Let's see...if the habs retain 50% of Monahan contract to raise his value, that would leave one salary retention possible for Drouin or Dadonov. It will probably depend on the demand...

they could always use a 3rd team to retain money on one of these last 2. but yeah, I don't see any demand worth retaining anything.

Let's hope one of the 2nd, 3rd or 4th line gets things going tonight, the red wings are playing really well right now...

With Anderson out and Pitlick on waivers, time for others to step up with the additional minutes to show they deserve to be in the line up.

while I agree, I'm really starting to wonder what it would take for some of these guys to finally wake up, there just doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency whatsoever.

I just do not see anyone wanting Drouin, Dadonov or Hoffman... the first 2 will be gone when their contracts are up and Hoffman likely bought out over the summer.

Monahan is an interesting case... if Dach stays on the first line, I can see the Habs trying to keep him beyond this year.

My money is still on one of Monahan or Dvorak likely being traded.

Drouin knows he is done, this is his last NHL contract, playing out the clock. Iwill give him credit for trying and showing effortthis year, even with that bad wrist.

Dadonov just does not want to be in MTL. And plays like he does not want to be here.

Hoffman is so one dimensional a player, who would be OK as a 3rd line option if he was making 1/2 the salary. I just do not think he has much left in the can either and is in full "this team ain't gonna win, so I don't care much" mode.

I can get behind keeping Drouin, because effort is there. The other two, just (frank)ing waive them and bring up kids(any kids) already. And if that causes problems in the locker room, then you know which players want to be here and which ones you want to send elsewhere.
