Indeed! I think i would keep Lindholm and McAvoy apart. I think they can both man a 1A and 1B pairing. Clifton has been playing well enough to partner with Lindholm.

Completely agree. I like this to start. Monty seems to the juggle and lines and pairings often during play so it will interesting to the alternate pairings as well.

Who is the odd man out when Forbort comes back? Doesn't seem like there is much interest in Reilly. I think they need to move just under 3M to be compliant with a healthy roster.

I am assuming Zboril and Forbort will split time.

Clifton has been awesome this year in the new system. He activates into the play well. The Bruins improved play this season has a lot to do with Debrusk and Clifton taking big steps forward. Not to mention Lindholm getting comfortable. Zacha is also pleasantly solid.

Based solely upon this year's sample, no way Zboril is taking the ice over Forbert. I could honestly see Carlo being traded. Too fragile and therefore unreliable. Don't take that as me being anti-Carlo...far from it, but it's a business and he probably brings a good return. The biggest issue there is upsetting team chemistry.

Yeah, if the trade is right he might be expendable. I just don't think you need to trade him. You have Carlo Charlie and Lindholm signed for the foreseeable future and that is the strength of this team going forward. Right now, they have a pretty solid mix of skill, size and shut down defenseman.

Just have to hope that he starts to play meaner as he gets older. He is pretty solid defensively and if he can learn how to protect himself that will go a long way.

Don't get me wrong, I like Carlo. Would love to see a bit more meaness from him but I'm satisfied with his play. My only true issue with him is durability. He does us no good if he's not on the ice and unfortunately that happens too often. Frankly, I worry about the kid long term...for him, not the team.

Oh man, I wouldn't either!

I got my Pooh bear jersey ordered. Went with Bergeron. Need to have at least one jersey with his name on it before he leaves.

Might show Hampus Lindholm some love with the next one. His play has exceeded expectations this year.
